Week 3

This week we have a lot of exciting learning opportunities that will be taking place in Te Kohanga and throughout the school. Motivation for the week - what are you going to do? Focuses this week: Geometric cities Speeches - writing drafts for speech competition Reading - Novel sets Passion Projects STEAM challenge creations Remember, we will be having athletics on Monday and Friday afternoons, so please wear appropriate clothing for running, throwing and jumping. Friday we will be having a whole school assembly starting at 9am.

Week 1, Term 4

We are now entering into the busiest time of the year... It is also one of the saddest terms as the Year Sixes begin to prepare to move on to their next adventures. Here is a link to the newsletter for term 4. There are lots of events happening so please read and follow the blog to keep up to date. Ag Day Notice

SCARECROW COMPETITION We are introducing a new Ag Day competition open to all Goodwood Explorers-the ‘Make a Scarecrow Competition’. The children construct their scarecrow during the school holidays and bring it to school on the first Monday back. They register their entry at the school office and the scarecrow will be judged and displayed on Ag Day. MYSTERY BOTTLE We would like each school family to donate a bottle of something, wrapped up so that the contents remain a mystery. The contents are totally up to you- examples include shampoo, wine, sauce, preserves, hand cream, bottle filled with lollies -just as long as it is wrapped and purchasers can’t guess what is inside. These will be sold during the week leading up to Ag Day and on the day so please bring your bottle into the school office before the end of this term. Thank you for supporting this fundraising initiative. CAFÉ There will be a number of guests visiting our school on Ag Day so we will be selling morning tea and lunc

Week 10

This week we have a lot of events taking place. We have generated a list of MUST knows to ensure production week can run as successfully as possible. Production Information  - Please book in so you do not miss out As this is a whole school production, we are asking for you to complete the Digi-poll link so we can have some understanding of numbers. We have around 300 seats in the hall and are hoping to fill them for all three performances. So...
